Crafting Natural Challenges to Immerse Players
In The I.N.S.P.E.C.T.I.O.N, our players explore an abandoned research facility, overrun by the mimics that were studied inside.
The entire complex was designed to accommodate these creatures, with each encounter reflecting the unique ecosystem that has naturally developed.
A small jungle has been built to enclose some of the more exotic specimens of the facility. A perfect environment for creative mimics.
The chimera resident has more than a few tricks up its sleeve. It hunts trespassers relentlessly within its domain, including the treacherous mimics.
The mother of all mimics, its body ever-morphing, breeds its kind in the deepest enclosure, far beneath a painted ceiling. Down there, even the grass is a mimic.
Designing Enemies with Purpose
Perils of the Planar Pocket is a compendium of elemental monsters built around combat roles. Brutes, skirmishers, supports, artillery and commander creatures of all elements bring their unique mechanics, strengths, and weaknesses to face against our players.
Forged from infernal steel and fueled by violence, the Hellfire Destroyer roams the wastes of the underworld in search of intruders.
The ephemeral Aromancer appears when powerful scents emerge. Perfumes make them peaceful, but beware of those formed from stink or spice.
Warping reality to its will, the formless Graviton pulls in matter to form a protective shell. When it becomes unstable, it crushes everything nearby under a gravity well.
Balancing Complexity with Streamlined Gameplay
Mounting Revamped is a redesign of the mounting system in DnD 5th Edition aiming to get rid of its clunky and unnecessarily complicated aspects.
Streamlined actions through creature-specific Maneuvers allow players tactical use of their mounts in combat, without hassle. With their own particular Maneuvers themed around their lore, type, and environment, each creature truly feels unique to their rider.
Writing and Worldbuilding
Far in the lands of the Fey, in her sunlit court, the Queen of Summer and her kin mourn their long-lost sister. Regretful in their bliss, those who remain await a dusk that will never come.
From the adventure Journey to the Grove of the Sun.
Deep beneath forgotten kingdoms and ancient ruins, shadows crawl in silence. Like the many secrets buried with them, they fear if they whispered, they would be heard.
From the adventure Eggs-Pedition to the Depths.
"Dorus's eyes-- no, eyesockets-- glowed with a sickly light, hollow and lifeless -- as if dusk burned inside his head."
Forsaken by Apollo during the war between chtonians and olympians, the Scarred Sunlands still shine with an unnatural light. Radiance bursts from within, fighting to escape from its prison.
"One needs no diplomacy when strength alone can command obedience. When in your hands lies the power to shape destinies and forge empires, all you have to do is clench."
Once, the Conqueror commanded all with an iron fist, forging a unified empire across the continent. Relics from this campaign now lie forgotten in ancient halls, coveted by tyrants and feared by those who remember their reign.
And much more.
